Topical application directions

For all topical treatments: Do NOT bathe animal 48 hours before or after application of product. This will allow the skin to build up enough oils to disperse the product properly. This will also help to keep the efficacy of the product.

If having a flea infestation: You should apply a veterinary approved product for 3 consecutive months to help treat the problem. This will help break the life cycle of the flea. Treatment of home and yard may also be needed.

Frontline plus:

Remove applicator form child-resistant package. Hold applicator upright and snap applicator tip away form face and body. Place applicator tip through animal’s hair to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Squeeze applicator, applying entire contents in a single spot to the animal’s skin. Avoid superficial application to the animal’s hair. Only one applicator per treatment is needed. Treatment is only good for one month.

Advantage and K9 Advantix:

Remove applicator tube from the package. Hold applicator tube in an upright position. Pull cap off tube. Turn the cap around and place other end of cap back on tube. Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube. The animal should be standing for easy application. Part the hair on the animal’s back, between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube to expel the entire contents directly on the skin. Do not get this product in you pet’s eyes or mouth.

*****K9 Advantix is only for use on dogs! DO NOT USE ON CATS or other animals. If a cat is in a household of a dog that will have the product applied, keep the animals separated until product has fully dried on the dog.
