Dr. Amanda Lang
VMD & Owner
Dr. Lang is the new owner of Webster Lake Veterinary Hospital. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. After practicing in New Jersey for 2 years at a large, very busy practice, she joined WLVH in 2008. Dr. Lang enjoys the atmosphere of a more tight-knit community and has appreciated getting to know the clients and pets on a more personal level. This environment allows her to offer the follow-up care for which she is known. She is a big proponent of preventative, wellness, and dental care to avoid issues in the future. She is married, has two beautiful children, and lives on a farm with her active dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, and many horses.
Dr. Diane Sullivan
DVM
Dr. Sullivan is a 1990 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She was the owner of Webster Lake Veterinary Hospital from 2005 to April 2022. Diane enjoys spending time with her family and her two (very spoiled) canine buddies, Jacoby and Kramer. Her favorite pastime is heading out on the trails with friends and her adorable horses, Chico and Levi.
Dr. Abby Brisbois
DVM
Dr. Brisbois is a lifelong resident of Webster. She graduated as valedictorian from Bartlett High School in 2010 and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Stonehill College. She spent time working in research at the Tufts Hospital for Large Animals before attending Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine for her doctorate degree. Outside the office, she enjoys boating on Webster Lake, working out at the gym, hiking with her dog Reckless, and spending time with friends and family. She is excited to care for the animals in her own community and looks forward to meeting you and your furry friends.
Dr. Donna Badner
DVM
Dr. Badner received her veterinary degree from Tufts Veterinary School. She opened and operated Webster Lake Veterinary Hospital from 1994 to 2005 and has since continued to practice in Central Massachusetts. She is actively training first responders to be certified in basic life support for K9 working dogs as required by Nero’s Law. She has volunteered with NEADS and, as part of the Massachusetts Animal Response Team, was deployed during Hurricane Irene. She is also a member of the Basic Animal Rescue Training team and is QPR and Fear Free Certified.
Dr. Badner is very excited to come back to her roots and is proud that WLVH has kept her mission statement alive by providing quality care with compassion for your pets. She also serves on the board of the Central Mass Disaster Animal Response Team and is certified in Recover Basic and Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Kristina Chester
DVM
Dr. Chester is a 2023 graduate of Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her doctorate degree. Though she enjoyed her time in Iowa volunteering, working with small and large animals, and focusing on career goals, she is ecstatic to come back to Webster, Massachusetts, where she has strong community ties. In her off-time, she enjoys gardening, playing the ukulele, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She is excited to join the Webster Lake Veterinary Hospital team and to provide quality care to all her new patients!
Our Veterinary Team
Melissa
Practice Manager
Melissa is our practice manager and is always ready to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Her true passion for animals brought her from the sales and business industries into the animal world, and she couldn’t be happier! Melissa also assists in training first responders to be certified in basic life support for K9 working dogs as required by Nero’s Law. Outside the practice, Melissa enjoys exercising, weightlifting, and spending quality time with her husband, two children, their French Mastiff Brody, and Bulldog Babe. Melissa has a passion for all animals but is especially drawn to the larger breeds.
